Bush on Israel’s 60th Birthday
By: Chip
Once again GWB has stepped in it! In a speech to Israelis on the occasion of the celebration of 60 years of their existence, in front of the whole world who tends to be sympathetic of the simultaneous celebration of Nakba (the marketing campaign that the very existence of Israel is a catastrophe that needs to end one way or another), Chimpy McHaliburton apparently attacked those who callously contribute to the cacophony of appeasement. He invoked a quote of stunning hubris by a Republican of pre WWII times who said “Lord, if only I could have talked with Hitler, all this might have been avoided.” If this simpleton of a President thinks he can get away with starting a rational discussion on foreign policy regarding Israel’s right to exist as a sovereign nation when so many in the world (for a variety reasons) don’t, he is sadly mistaken! No sir, what’s important is the discussion about which Americans were victims of this insidious attack on hope and reason!
