Robert Ferrigno on Presidential Wisdom…Lessons for Obama.
Thomas Lifson:… the must-not-be-quoted AP reports that brilliant scientists decided to “save” native sea birds by eliminating the population of feral cats which were devouring the avian population. Sounds great, except that removing the cats allowed rabbits to multiply, devastating the local vegetation. Now the island is described as an environmental catastrophe, requiring an expensive rescue.
Ed Morrissey: This should really enrage the Left. The FISA court will make public a ruling that validates George Bush’s warrantless surveillance on international communications, including those with one terminus in the United States
John Hinderaker: Historian Andrew Roberts puts the case for President Bush’s administration, especially in foreign policy, very well….President Bush did many things for which his enemies will never forgive him. The last, and perhaps most unforgivable, was winning in Iraq.
Claudia Rosett: To chair the 2009 governing board of the U.N.’s flagship agency, the multibillion-dollar globe-girdling United Nations Development Program, dedicated to promoting good governance and ending poverty, the U.N. has now picked–wait for it–the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Spook86: At last report, the border fence between the U.S. and Mexico was behind schedule and over budget…Completing the fence should be a national priority–just in case JFCOM’s prediction comes true.
