Ed Whelan: At least one liberal law professor was “completely disgusted” by Judge Sotomayor’s testimony.  In an online debate on the Federalist Society’s website, Georgetown law professor Mike Seidman writes:

Allahpundit: Whether it’s borrowing from future generations to pay for the stimulus or hiding the costs of his health-care boondoggle by backloading them, he’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.

White House Eugenicist is a problem: Holdren’s past flies in the face of Barack Obama’s contention, made on the day of the science czar’s appointment, that his administration was “ensuring that facts and evidence are never twisted or obscured by politics or ideology.” Holdren embodies the opposite, actually.

Watts Up With That: “In a nutshell, theoretical models cannot explain what we observe in the geological record,” said oceanographer Gerald Dickens, a co-author of the study and professor of Earth science at Rice University. “There appears to be something fundamentally wrong with the way temperature and carbon are linked in climate models.”

Jules Crittenden: Spain’s National Court finds an investigative judge presented one-sided evidence in an effort to railroad three American soldiers, and tosses the murder case against Shawn Gibson, Philip Wolford and Philip deCamp in the April 8, 2003, killing of Spanish newsman Jose Couso in the Hotel Palestine. Again.

Don Surber: Forget the polls. Forget the propaganda campaign. Forget the political correctness. In a town as liberal as Austin, less than 1% are willing to pony up and pay for wind power and the like… This is the greenest program in the country and it is 99% unsold?

The Foundry: Phase Three: Beat the Clock. Now that President Obama’s economic forecasts have been exposed as “fantasy”, he is pressing for quick passage of health reform before he is forced to acknowledge reality and issue a new budget forecast next month.
