A Revolution at Hand

The world has really gone mad. Perhaps it always was. The culture wars never seem to cease. In my opinion, culture wars are largely driven by ego and jealousy. There are countless examples but let’s talk about a recent one we see on a regular basis. The Occupy Movement. I just can’t believe that it has a name and a name that most Americans recognize. But there it is… “Occupy Movement”. In my humble opinion, ‘Movement’ being the operative word. However, it’s a movement and from what I can gather it is a bunch of folks who want successful individuals to give them things. By any other name it is socialism. But let’s consider what types of individuals are involved in Occupy – hippies, anarchists, unions, liberals and politicians. See a pattern? Pretty much folks who do not take personal responsibility for what they say, how they act or even how they smell.
Well, let me tell you what this right wing, neo-con, knuckle dragging Jesus lover has been up to. I’m so proud of the idea that could truly revolutionize the world. Every hippie, every anarchist (well maybe not them because I think these folks just want to smash windows and scream obscenities), every union member, every single bleeding heart liberal (or is that bleating heart liberal), every politician can get down with what I’m about to share. Not to mention right wingers, tea partiers, personal responsibility types and even the doomsday preppers are all going to love this. So we can all agree that everyone should be on the exact same page right now…except for the anarchists.
Me and my buddies at The Common Chef have created one of the most eco-friendly, symbiotic, green, self-sustaining, organic, fresh and incredible things recently. We created an aquaponics farm. If you are not familiar, this is a farm that combines aquaculture and hydroponics into a beautiful relationship that will yield fresh fish and organic fruits and vegetables up the Whazoooo.
The way it works is astounding but quite simple. It is an ancient technology but in modern times the concept has been perfected. A tank full of fish…basically poop. That waste is fed to a series of grow beds full of rocks and plants (no soil). Once the water passes through the rocks and plant roots, the waste is filtered. That water is then pumped back into a reservoir that is then pumped back into the fish tank to start the process all over again. It’s a closed loop system so you only have to add water for evaporation purposes. By now the lefties should be jumping up and down with pure joy. The folks on the right should be thoughtfully considering just how much money this could save in these uncertain times. Because folks on the right, generally realize that they have to take care of themselves and their families.
The vegetables and fruits grow at an alarming rate and so do the tilapia fish that are in the tank. It’s a crazy win, win for environmentalists and responsible individuals. As long as the anarchists don’t come along and smash up your garden, you’ll have fresh, pesticide free organic food at your beckoning call. It even gets better. We’ll come out and build one of these systems for you. Check out EasyPonix – North Central Florida’s leading aquaponics experts in maintenance and production. The unfortunate split happens at this juncture. For all the Occupy folks, we won’t be giving them away or building them for free. However, if you do actually get someone to pay for it on your behalf, we will build for you then.
Believe it or not, it even gets better. We made a video of us building this system and then we cooked a 3 way meal using tilapia as the main ingredient to celebrate in episode 10 of The Common Chef – Here, Fishie…Fishie…Fishie…
