Barack’s Flock Takes Stock of Iraq!

Thanks to Barrack Obama, Americans are today much better educated on Iraq than they have been in the last five years. The most influential part of Barrack’s Flock, journalists, followed the presumptive Democratic Presidential Candidate on a fabulous world tour like groupies. The good news is America learned that something had happened in Iraq and it turns out our guys won! It gets a little hazy at this point on specifics of the how or why, but apparently the worst anybody can up with at this point is “it can’t be lost”.

So what “couldn’t be done” has been done? Do not forget that just because a variety of opponents with different levels of influence and lethality have been driven from the battle space, it does not mean they can not reform and reengage. There will continue be the occasional spectacular spontaneous explosion of an Islamofascist, but clearly that happens routinely wherever Islamofascists vie for political power. Everybody seems to be saying that whatever they have advocated for 5 years has resulted in success for the Iraqi people. Opponents driven from the battle space were numerous and include but are not limited to:

Our guys defeated Saddam’s vaunted Republican Guard that was going to be sending tens of thousands of body bags back home to America. They defeated the military elements of Saddam’s power structure executing a planned insurgency that could never be defeated because they had won the hearts and minds of the people. They defeated the Shia Militias that were slaughtering the Sunnis and ceding power to Iran. They defeated the vaunted Iranian Revolutionary Guard that most won’t admit were in Iraq.

Most importantly they humiliated the Islamofascist movement of Al Qaeda and their supporters, who made Iraq their primary front in the War on Infidels. Blowing up the Jews is still ok, but blowing up Muslims has lost Al Qaeda its “street cred” on the famous Arab street. The good guys also defeated those on our side who said they did everything wrong and actively hampered their efforts until it turned out they won.

One man ordered a small minority of Americans to accomplish a mission, knowing how difficult that task would be. Thanks to Barrack Obama everyone gets the credit except for the one man and that small minority of Americans that got it done.
