Polar Bear killed by Global Warming?

Tim Blair: The healthy-looking bear didn’t seem too fussed, checking out Icelandic scenery and snacking on local delicacies. “The bear is living off of eggs and birds,” local photographer Rax Axelsson said. Then the media descended, hot for evidence of global warming and eager to portray the adventurous polar bear as a victim of humankind’s cruelty. This occurred even though the creature seemed quite happy proving polar bears can, in fact, survive without ice. That’s when things went horribly wrong. Annoyed by a swarm of environment-minded reporters, the previously mild polar bear lunged at them. Tragically, police observing the confrontation - concerned the media would be added to the bear’s egg-bird diet - reacted by shooting the bear dead.
