W stands for Winner!

Mr.PC.

Yes, it is that one day a week in which the rogue propagandists on the Drive Time Happy Hour pay homage to W. It’s Wednesday stands for W day. I know that lefties cringe at the idea and bunker dwellers scoff, but W is still my hero. Like him or hate him you have to admit you get what you see. His policies have remained consistent and as a result, I believe, we can see tangible results. Plus, it is always a huge advantage to be one of Bush’s oil buddies. He has been a strong bold leader for America and the free world! Hopefully, this commentary has annoyed a leftie.

Big surprise, but let’s talk about Obama in contrast to the W-onderful, W-awesome President. I haven’t taken the time to read Obama’s book, “The Audacity of Hope” because quite frankly I’d rather chew on tinfoil or shave my head with a cheese grater (as Sam from the TV show Cheers would say). I have read a lot of what Obama has to say. It’s hard to miss his words because the media plasters them on every street corner post with a barker screaming at the top of his lungs, ‘get your salvation here, get your salvation here - the Obamessiah has spoken’. Then there is his audacious web site a particularly puffy work of fictional fantasy. All in all, Obama seems to set himself up as a black man who had the “audacity” to have hope for a better future. A guy, who went to private schools, eats arugula for dinner and has a law degree from Harvard. Is this because against all odds he overcame a racist white man’s society with the audacity to hope for a better life? Give me a break. I’m some poor white schlep who could only have dreamed of getting an education like he was provided. Yet, Obama sets himself up as if all the cards were stacked against him….as a black man.

It just seems so disingenuous, perhaps even fraudulent, for Obama to play this card. This country isn’t about the ‘audacity of hope’. This country is about the ‘I can do’ attitude. The foundation of America paved the way for all people to have hope. Not just Americans but the entire world can hope in what America has stood for. I do not discount the hard work and tenacity that Obama must have to hold a Harvard law degree. I think it is fabulous. However, he approaches his privilege from a negative perspective and somehow expects all of us to buy this phony ’street cred’ game he is playing. At least with W I know he was a party frat boy of privilege. He was in the oil business, baseball business, a fighter pilot with a degree from Yale. He eats hot dogs, apple pies and has probably driven a Chevy. He isn’t frontin’ any nonsense. He grew up to become President and his motivation is not driven by anything other than he loves this country and all of her people. My conclusion is that I actually have the “audacity to believe Obama is a fraud who plays the race card, lies to America and hates the military”.

This has to be one of the most heart wrenching, tragic things I’ve ever read. Does the leader of the free world need to know how to define evil? Do lefties know what evil is - what is their track record on the matter? The lefties are against the death penalty but for killing an unborn child. They are against removing a tyrant like Saddam from power but want to save the folks in Darfur. How do we save the people in Darfur? How do we free Tibet? America is currently confronting an ideology in Iraq and Afghanistan that would kill, maim, brutalize, terrorize and horrify people who have the “audacity of hope”….yet these audacious people would rather eat arugula and point the finger at the evil Bush administration, corporations and our military. What is to be done with Sudan? A recent report talks about what the UN is doing

It is difficult to know what to do about genocide in the world we live in. USAID said this about President Bush:
“New Compact for Development
In the first major Presidential address concerning foreign assistance since the Kennedy Administration, President George W. Bush announced the ;”New Compact for Development;” at the Inter-American Development Bank. During the speech, President Bush said that combating poverty is a moral imperative and that he has made it a U.S. foreign policy priority. To meet this challenge, the President has proposed increased accountability for rich and poor nations alike, linking greater contributions by developed nations to greater responsibility by developing nations. The President announced that the United States will increase its core development assistance by 50% over the next 3 years, resulting in a $5 billion annual increase over current levels. These additional funds will go to a new Millennium Challenge Account that will fund initiatives to help developing nations improve their economies and standards of living.”

Savedarfur.org says this about President Bush:

“Why is the Coalition calling upon President Bush to help make sure UN peacekeepers are sent immediately to Darfur? Shouldn’t that be the UN’s responsibility?

The recent television ads sponsored by the Save Darfur Coalition asking President Bush to take the lead in pushing for the deployment of a UN force in Darfur are not meant in any way to “bash” the President, but rather to urge him to follow through on the good work he and his Administration have already begun. We are both cognizant and appreciative of the fact that the President has done more for the people of Darfur than any other world leader. In fact, it is because of his leadership thus far that we direct our pleas to President Bush now. The hard truth is that the United Nations does not have a standing army it can choose to deploy, it must instead rely on its member states to do the hard work necessary to actually deploy a peacekeeping force once that force has been authorized. As the strongest of member states, we believe that the United States, under the President’s leadership, must lead the international effort to raise and deploy that UN peacekeeping force. While we are not calling for U.S. troops in Darfur, we are calling for the strong U.S. leadership necessary to ensure that a capable UN force is raised and sent to Darfur as soon as possible.”

The House holds Rove in contempt. Boy, they sure are doing a lot to clean up the culture of corruption. Still no word on Pelosi’s involvement with FARC terrorists. Approval ratings show that the American people hold Congress in contempt.

Housing Bill signed into law by W. Now I can buy that $625,000 house with low interest government loans.

The nanny state continues. Meanwhile, it’s McDonald’s to the rescue in Manila.

What…..positive economic news again? Surely there is a baffled economic expert somewhere out there.

Everybody panic! We may not even make to the end of the Mayan calendar. Only Al Goracle could save us now.

Bugs may not be as good as a nice new york strip, but they’ll do in a pinch.

Rocket Man, burning out my fuse up here alone…..

There is always more lunacy on the show itself. Have a happy W day!
